NEW YORK DAY 2

Jewel of Midtown---Bryant Park
for lunch and piano by Terry Waldo

International Center of Photography for the Richard Avedon
exhibit. Then on the subway to 53rd and the American
Folk Art Museum to see Paula Nadelstern's Kaleidoscope Quilt Exhibit.
It was incredible. On the other hand really could have done without
the Henry Darger exhibit. This man was seriously disturbed.

Did the token visit to "When Harry Met Sally" Washington Park.
I thought they were doing a restoration on the Park but it was rundown
and overused. Maybe it was the crowds and the heat-- we didn't stay long.

Vicki-- I would love to tell you we went looking for this place
after you told us about it but that would be a fib.
We were walking home from Washington Square on Waverly St
and just lucked onto it.
Bought dinner and the falafel was good and fun to try.
Tiny store but seemed to be very popular.
