OCEANSIDE FARMERS MARKET

Heading for the Farmers Market this morning. We're way into Organic Foods and
Nutrition......

Pretty cool stuff but I was looking for something else.

Ahhhh...... the Organic Food section
Found IT
$6.50 for a bag of great Peanut Brittle. Selling Point-- doesn't stick to your teeth-- and
it doesn't. Good stuff.

Good bread but we refrained.
Flowers everywhere

Jelly fish in resin---may have to have one of those.

--
Picked out a beautiful "fiber optic" hanging plant... turned my back for 10 minutes
and it was gone. He promised he'd have one for me next week.

"Budda Fingers" lemons. Huge. No juice but lots of zest.

Beautiful sculptures from Africa. Talked to the young man that
imports them. Nice.

Cute Poncho's from Peru

Found what I was looking for. My New York bag--- came all the
way from Peru. Shoulder strap just right, has a zipper and just need
to make a small adjustment to one of the patches in the front. I'll get
Miss Glenna to do it for me.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD

GOOD OCEAN DAY

THE BEACH EROSION IS HUGE AFTER THE STORM. IN FRONT OF
THE COMPLEX WE LOST 4-5 FEET OF SAND. THAT'S FEET.
THE BEACH USED TO COME HALF WAY UP THIS ROCK WALL. THEY
WILL BE DREDGING THE HARBOR LATER THIS SPRING WHICH WILL
REPLACE SOME OF THE SAND BUT THE ENTIRE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO
IS COMPLAINING BECAUSE THERE IS NO MONEY TO SPEND ON SAND
RECOVERY AND ALL THE BEACHES ARE HURTING.

I love the designs the water makes draining away from the rocks

Little squiggles in the sand---amazing!!!

Talked to a lady who was collecting ocean glass and a man with
a geiger counter. He had found a beautiful womans diamond ring
and said it was the 74th ring he had found in the past year. He goes
out 4 days a week. Wendell says "he's probably a widower" and I
said "Naw, he's just retired and his wife is happy he has a hobby".
I'm just glad we are each other's hobby.
Beach erosion goes all the way up to the Strand.

This is comforting?
