PARIKA LAKE HIKE

According to Melanie you can only call it a "death march" if the hike is over 12 miles.

Parika did not qualify---it's 11.5 miles.

Crossing the Grand Ditch.

There are times when it almost overflows but the

runoff is over now. It carrys water from the top of

the Never Summer Mountains to the front range of North Eastern Colorado

for the farms.

NATIONAL MOUNTAIN BIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Tim and Melanie and kids arrived on Thursday so Tim
could prepare to race on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. This is the
first time we have ever seen him race and we were impressed.
Abby is Dad's water girl--All the guys looking in their direction
are not looking at Tim.

This hill was bad but the next one was truly ugly.

The Finish Line-- Yea.

The Master Engineer---look out M.I.T

Once again Abby masters the mighty Hummingbird.
Who says you can't get them to land on your fingers.
You just have to know how to do it.

Great Visit-- Love you

BACK AT THE CABIN 2010

Love it when it snows in June
