JANE RUSSELL
Jane Russell was a standout because she never let the fact that she
embodied sizzling sexuality ruin her life. She was smart, grounded, and a real lady who steered clear of the tabloid hell that sent many another “bombshell” to a miserable fate.
I loved her in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and I thought her best match in a leading man was Robert Mitchum. They had great chemistry.
You gotta love a winner, bless her memory.
She was a class act and my favorite movie star from the age of 8.
