I LOVE REEVE LINDBERGH

Can I even tell you how much I love Reeve Lindbergh as an author.

Her new book "Forward From Here" is wonderful. Touches on everything. On turning 61, she quotes her mother saying "Sixty is the youth of old age". Chapter 8 is on the mind trying to get life organized "just in case". And Chapter 9 is about her brain tumor surgery last year. I read this at the Huntsman Cancer Institute while waiting for the results of my husband's biopisy. (It turned out fine.) If you've never read her books you have a real treat coming. I always read her books so fast that I'm sorry when I finish. If I had just read slower I could still be reading it now.

Her children's books far outnumber her adult fiction/non-fiction but they are all great.

Hi, the titles of these books alone make me want to check them out - thanks for the recommendations :)

I think I would like to be a hippy grandma one day LOL Love that you are a traveller and not a tourist!
I will watch out for Reeve Lindbergh, I need to read something positive about getting older :-)

Hello from Brooklyn, New York! I saw you comment on Beachy's Cape Cod Cupboard, and followed you over here.

Thanks for this author recommendation! I hope to be a "hippie grandmother" before the year is over....looking forward to it, even though... shhhh.. it's still not an official announcement as yet :-)

Congrats on all the nice things happening in your family!

Hugs, Pat
