SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT

EMOTIONS
Compliments of August 1957 Seventeen Magazine
Don't even ask how I happened to have this magazine at the cabin with me.
Our assignment for this Saturday is "EMOTION '(S) Well since today is my 65th birthday, there will probably be lots of emotion today. I'm HAPPY that I'm this "old?" and I'm BEWILDERED because I'm this "old". I'm SAD about some mistakes I've made and DELIGHTED about others. I'm GLAD I won't have to pay my husbands past employer $400. quarterly for private insurance any more.

I feel so HUMBLE to live in this great country and to have the Flag flown on this day.

I feel EMPATHY everyday about what is going on in parts of the world. I feel ANGUISH at many of the front page photo's of the New York Times.

I feel FORTUNATE and PROUD that we have such beautiful and gifted children and grandchildren. I'm AMAZED and GRATEFUL that my husband loves and cares for me through everything. I feel LOVE and JOY when I think of him. I am blessed to feel the WARMTH of friendship from many friends.

Today I feel GRATITUDE for our 1st grandchild, for he was born on this day also, on my 50th Birthday. I remind him every year that
he was the "BEST" birthday gift I'll ever receive. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDSON

Happy Birthday to you and your grandson. When are you serving the cake? I'm still 13 months away from 65, and counting. Happy Birthday to you and God Bless Lyndon Johnson. I say the latter, all the time, Bob's been over 65 for 3 years, now, what a savings.

Quite an emotional time for you. I posted a series of four, human and animal with a variety of emotions as well.

How lovely to share your birthday with your first grandson. I like how you have used different emotions to highlight the happenings in your life, past and present. x

Happy Birthday, Judy. What a milestone. My hubby also reached 65 this year. Sounds so old, but then - you made it this far, why not 95??
Have a wonderful cerebration.

Good morning, Judy! First of all I want to wish you a belated Happy 65th Birthday! My turn is next month! I don't mind a bit. Your view of this age is much the same as mine.

I got my "card", not long ago. That was a different sort of feeling, but I don't mind.

I've certainly enjoyed catching up with news from The Cabin, this morning.

Have a wonderful week.
